Cadet R. Gordon Brown, R.A.F., son of Mrs. R.J. Brown, Caintown who returned to Canada recently was a student at Queen's University, Kingston, when he enlisted as a gunner in the 50th Battery, C.F.A. Later he was transferred to the 6th Battery, C.F.A., in France in which he soon rose to the rank of bombadier. After 15 months with the guns he went to England to train for a commission in the Royal Air Force and was there until the armistice was signed.
